General Introduction
The BW450 mud pump is a horizontal triplex reciprocating single-acting piston pump, specially designed for geological drilling supporting operations. It serves as the core flushing fluid supply equipment for core drilling and borehole construction. Capable of delivering both clean water and thick mud, this pump features compact overall dimensions and lightweight design, making it easy to transport and suitable for mountainous and complex field environments.
Model BW450/5 mud pump adopts a three-bore and four-gear speed regulation structure. The displacement can be flexibly adjusted according to different drilling depths and construction requirements. In addition to conventional drilling flushing, it can also be used for cement grouting and pressure perfusion operations.

Core Functions & Characteristics
As essential supporting equipment for geological survey and core drilling, the BW450 mud pump provides continuous circulating flushing fluid (clean water or mud) during drilling operations. It effectively discharges underground rock cuttings and debris to the ground, keeping the borehole bottom clean at all times. Meanwhile, the circulating fluid cools and lubricates drill bits and drilling tools, reducing tool wear and improving overall drilling efficiency and hole-forming quality.
When cooperating with full hydraulic core drilling rigs, the pump injects stable mud slurry into the borehole to form a protective mud wall, preventing borehole collapse and wall leakage. It is perfectly suitable for geological core drilling and prospecting operations with a maximum drilling depth of 1500 meters.
